CAMERAS 4 KIDS APPEAL
For the last 2 years my wife, Linda, and I have been travelling to Africa to work with a children's Charity in Swaziland.
Swaziland is sadly the AIDS capital of the world and because of this terrible disease many thousands of children have been left orphaned, many with nobody to care for them.
The good news is that a charity set up a safe haven to help these vulnerable children. The town of Bulembu is now a place where children who had no hope of a future, now have a safe home, 24/7 care, school education, food and clothing and a HOPE of a bright future.
For the past 2 years we have been helping them to product promotional photos and videos that will engage current sponsors and encourage new ones to give and support this wonderful work.
What we can achieve in 2 weeks while we are there is obviously very small.
This year we would like to give the charity some cameras and teach them how to use them so that they will be able to produce their own photos and videos.
This equipment will not only help to produce further funding to care for the children but will be used to teach the older children how to take photos and videos for themselves. Giving them an opportunity that they could have only dreamed of!
Will you please help us to fund the equipment for the children?
We are looking to provide them with a minimum of 2 digital SLR cameras, memory cards, batteries, tripods, microphones and editing software.
TO DO THIS WE NEED £1500
Should we receive more than this we have a full shopping list of equipment including an additional higher spec camera, laptop computer and other items.
